Service Description

Abstract Landscape, Ages 11 - 14 • Week 4: Students will learn how to abstract what they see in photos of Scandinavian landscapes. We'll discuss intuitive abstract painting and choose simple motifs and patterns which we connect to. We'll briefly discuss Hilma Af Klint and the various bold shapes and colors she used in her artwork. Students will explore handmade folk art design principles white embracing the warm comforting spirit of hygge - a Danish concept of coziness, togetherness and well-being with an Indiana touch. Bring your friends. Minimum students is 3. If 3 students have not signed up, we will need to cancel the class.
